Public Sector Resource Mobilisation Workshop — From Strategy to Implementation
June 1 @ 8:00 am – June 5 @ 5:00 pm
This five-day intensive workshop is designed to strengthen institutional sustainability within the public and quasi-public sector by equipping leaders to develop and implement robust, bankable Resource Mobilisation (RM) Strategies. RM Strategy Development was cited as one of the most valuable sessions at the 31st EARMW, and participants expressed the need for greater depth, structure, and practical application. This workshop provides that depth, moving from conceptual understanding to actionable strategy design and execution frameworks tailored to state corporations, government agencies, and donor-funded institutions.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
- Develop a structured, context-specific RM Strategy aligned to institutional mandates, public finance frameworks, and national development priorities.
- Conduct internal capacity assessments to identify gaps in systems, governance, compliance, and partnership readiness.
- Design diversified funding portfolios, balancing exchequer allocations, donor funding, public-private partnerships, and innovative financing mechanisms.
- Establish clear governance, oversight, and accountability structures for RM functions at Board and management levels.
- Build performance frameworks with measurable KPIs, risk management protocols, and reporting standards.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is tailored for:
- Board Members
- Directors and Deputy Directors
- Middle-level Managers involved in Resource Mobilisation
- Donor and Grant Managers
- Leaders from State Corporations, Government Agencies, NGOs, and other donor-funded institutions
The workshop is immersive, practical, and outcomes-driven—designed not merely to discuss strategy, but to leave with a structured RM blueprint ready for institutional adoption and implementation.
